Mr. Adam Hughes

Adam was raised in Medicine Hat and achieved his university degrees at the University of Lethbridge. He began his teaching career in a small K-12 in Dewberry nearly 15 years ago. In 2011, he moved to W.R. Myers High School to teach math, and physical education, and to coach football, rugby, and basketball. Recently he has worked as the vice-principal and athletic director. 

Adam’s favorite thing about teaching is connecting and building relationships with his fellow teachers and students. He loves helping students reach their full potential and he’s looking forward to the exciting challenge of principalship in Warner. 

Outside of school, Adam loves hanging out with his wife Laura, and their two kids, Sam and Ivy. They have an adorable dog that they love taking on adventures.
